      HELP I.D!!!!! Can anyone help I.D this..

      Hello fellow SDReefers, can anyone help me I.D. this yellow stuff... My clown fishes have dug up away the sand by this live rock and have been there hovering (kinda protecting) this yellow stuff... Can any one tell me what it is??? Thanks in advance...

      That's awesome... But I wonder why they didn't lay their eggs in the anemone... Thanks Jason

      They don't lay their eggs in anemones. Usually just near them.

      No problem. They should hatch in about 7-10 days. Watch for them to turn silver and you should begin to see eyes.

      They usually hatch at in the middle of the night. Mine usually hatch between midnight and 2 am. Shining a small pen light at eggs in the dark usually gets the hatching progress going. Once I see the silver eyes and movement in the egg they are ready. I hang out in the dark with my little flash light and a net. They will swim towards the light. Most of them become fish food. The ones that dont go into a Breeding basket. My system is not set up for breeding and I lose about 99% of them. In 8 years I have only had 5 make it. It is cool to watch. Good luck I hope you can manage to keep some alive.
