Hey folks! Looking for some thoughts on how I want to light my new project.

I'm in the process of setting up a 66 gallon Starfire tank from SCAquariums (Link: http://www.scaquariums.com/50-gallon...system-10.html). The dimensions of the tank are 32"W x 24"D x 20"H.

I'm planning on keeping a mixed reef that'll include a few SPS, and a pretty clean/empty sandbed with the exception of a clam or two.

I'm looking at running a pair of Kessil's 150a's (the 15k model), but I've been out of the reef game for a few years so LEDs are pretty new to me. My questions:

1. Will a pair of 150s give me enough spread over a 32"x24" footprint to light the tank evenly without keeping them too far from the surface?

2. Are the 150s appropriate for 20" depth if I plan coral placement appropriately? Again, I won't have many SPS near the bottom of the tank, but I'd like the ability to keep a clam healthy and happy on the bed.

If not this setup, what would you suggest?

Thanks in advance, guys! Love the forums, and I'm happy to see that the community is still going strong!
