FWIW i've burnt out two Jebao WP-25 power supplies and broke one impeller. My 3 year old MP-10's are going strong. On my old 150g my blue box MP-40s worked great for years,

Vortechs do make a very wide, laminiar flow. If you want craftsmanship and more 'direct' flow, i'd do the tunze powerheads.

Agreed Tunze are so nice still a little pricey. I would buy Tunze before Vortech. You cant beat German engineering. That might be why Jebao completely ripped off the Tunze power head. You are right about early Jebao power supplies. They were ordered in bulk and were sold with bad power or under powered power supplies. Jebaos customer service sucks. The early WP's were under rated for the pump and or power supply went bad prematurely. Or they were sold for a power supply for another country. What I have seen from Jebao in the last year is so much better than what they offered in the past. I love my Tunze skimmer. Tunze makes superior product. But as cheap as Jebao is I lean towards Jebao. My first gen WP25 is still going strong. My first power supply went bad but the pump is still working with a new dual controller and updated power supply. I cant complain.

AI and echotech don't do Groupbuys. They know their products will sell at full price. Just like sancho said with Apple. People will buy regardless of price. There was a GB going on here for AI a couple of months ago. The whole thing seemed a little sketchy and ended up getting shut down pretty quick.

I say if you have the money to spend on the radions and the mp40 do it man you will be happy with what you put your money in
Also a great thing to consider is the resale value of those product is very high and always in demand
Not sure if jeabo will have a great resale value

Recently got a jebao! Rw15 and it's awesome
But I also have three tunze powerheads and a pump that are rock solid that have been spinning since like 2006 only replaced the impeller once!
I'm a little nervous about how the jebao! (JAY BOW!) reliability will be but so far I'm really impressed how great it flows and it's functionality for the price! I say get those Jeabos before their gone from tunze suing them and their gone
