      water depth ?

      so i have a g2 skimmer what is the water depth supposed to be so i can make a stand the right height

      Looks like 9-10". I have a mini G and its in that range I believe. Foam level is set with the adjustable outlet pipe. I would set it up and see if you even need a stand, unless you're working with a really deep sump.

      6-10" is what is recommended, but I run my G2 with a Sedra 5000 in 14 inchs and runs great.

      Lol, +1 on this. I forgot to take this into account with my mini g. Ended up cutting 2" off the bottom and running the pump externally from the skimmer.

      stand is 39 in side no worries about cup 11 in of water it seems to be producing was just curious to produce more
