I am a fan of clown gobies, but you cant beat the ruby red dragonets or a mandarin if you have room and the bugs for them

I have a neon dotty back. He hasn't been an issue. I wouldn't put one in anything smaller than a 25 though. He swims all over mine, he would be cramped in anything smaller I think.

Helfrich Fire Fish, Purple Fire Fish, Orchid Dottyback, Swiss Guard Basslet, Royal Gramma, just about all the Flasher Wrasses and the Pygmy Cherub Angels. Although the Angels can be a bit territorial. With the Flasher Wrasse, I would think go any smaller than 30 gallons.

On a different note, I'm a big fan of the Fiji Blue Spot Puffer. Had one in a 20 years ago with no issues, will definitely get another.

I have a very long aquarium (like 6') but it is very thin (like 4 inches). Only thin (or not really fat) fish can turn around

With that's crazy thin! Blue legged hermits are cool too. Some sexy shrimp maybe. But there are some smaller cool looking gobies. If you want attraction to color. And able to move. Btw crazy tank how tall is it?
+1 again for ruby red dragonette awesome little fish stays small enough.

Since no one else posted, I'm guessing I'm going to be the only one to suggest a Sixline Wrasse. In a nano tank with minimal other fish they are quite active and the patterns/colors I think are great.

The tank's about 16 inches tall.
      Here's where I got it: http://aussieaquariums.com/panoramic.html
However, I changed the filter for a better one.
