      Rowaphos and phosphates

Hello. I have a 38 g reef tank. I have been using rowaphos in a reactor to reduce phosphates over the past year. My test says .01 . I am changing the media every other week. It seems that the readings increase from 0 to around .05 as the media loses power. Is it normal to have to change it that often? Are there better forms of phosphate removal than rowaphos? Should I be changing it out every week to keep it at 0?

      Rowaphos and phosphates

I have about 250ml of Rowa running on my 250gal. I haven't changed the media in about 3 months. I feed pretty heavy and have a medium fish load. Po4 levels are never above .03ppm. I've tried all kinds of media and there is nothing that even comes close to Rowa. Something isn't adding up...

Need a little more info on your tank...
      -Fish load
      -other filtration methods
      -food types
      -feeding habits
      -any additives/supplementation
-flow rate through your Rowa reactor
      -water change frequency
      -test kit brand/age
      -Scripps or mixing
      -evap replacement h2o source

All this will help and I'm sure more ppl will chime in
