Yes it is a small tank raised batfish.

how long does the batfish hold those colors?

years ago I had one. Called a pinnatus batfish (I think). In just 2 years it grew to over 8 inches
long. The orange remained but the black on the body faded a little. It would eat
from my hand

To my knowledge they stay that color throughout their life span. If I'm wrong hopefully somebody can speak up.

Idk how long they hold their colors, but they most certainly morph and change colors/shape.
