      arrggg wires wires everywhere

I need some inspiration. I have all this crap and nowhere to put it. Lets see your apex set ups. I am kinda anal and want it to look clean. I have run out of room under the stand and was looking for a creative and functional way to make all this stuff work.

Dave doesn't have an Apex but his Reef Keeper set up is super clean. I tried but failed.

There some other threads in the same subforum with really nicely done mounting.

Raceway and Velcro loops. F zip ties. Too much of a pain in the ass when you need to remove something. Or build a separate cabinet for the whole thing. Then mount some drawer slides to the cabinet and mount the cab to the stand. Boom!!! Now the cab can slide back and forth and it can be removed when needed.

Dave's set up is kinda what I am shooting for. I only have one side of stand open. The other side is up against a kitchen island. I am worried about salt creep and moisture. Any ideas for ventilation? Or am I over thinking this?

I may just pick up a cheap tablet after seeing that to keep Fusion up and running on all the time. Better then risking my phone during water changes!

I recently spent an entire Saturday re-running my wiring, putting everything in wire looms, zip-tying, etc. A couple days later I had to pull my salinity probe out and now half of it is unraveled ...

I kept mine as clean as I could. Of course the APEX was the last thing to go in so I was working around this and that. Obviously if you could plan it all out you would do it differently, but here's what I ended up with. I ran out of room underneath my stand, so I used the very top part of the stand, essentially the cieling of the stand. Double sided tape/velcro with screw to keep in place. Zip ties for the rest. Left myself the ability to get at the probes when needed without disturbing everything else.
