      Full Set up Calcium Rector

I'm downsizing equipment as I already downsized my tank. This is a full setup. This is a high end no worries calcium reactor. Plug and play. Comes with a dual chamber MRC reactor, c02 tank, regulator, 3 jugs of media, ph probe and shut auto shutoff. Can be used on tanks up to around 200 gal. If your tired of dosing then this is the system for you.

$400 For the entire set up. Take it home and hook it right up.

As far as I know MRC only has the one dual chamber reactor.

negative. Is this older? They have the CR-2, Cr-4, Cr-6. I am looking for a calcium reactor and i just need to find the right one/price for my tank.

I have the single in a CR1 and then a second add on chamber that is 2 inches wider than the main chamber. So my dual isn't on the same footprint like those. It looks like mine has been modded to handle larger systems. The second chamber is 2 inches larger in diameter than the main. I guess mine can handle a lot bigger than 200 gal because mine lines up with what the CR6 offers only on separate footprints.

FYI the CR6 offers 750 gal so I wasn't aware mine could handle so much volume. I knew it was badass but sheesh. But I have the whole setup. Everything you need to take it and run it tonight.

Your welcome. The secondary chamber is sold by MRC as an additional chamber so I would be more inclined to say modded vs pieced together, :-p

That sounds like a negative when actually for those with bigger tanks its a huge positive. I like this setup because the secondary chamber is much larger and you couldn't get that if you were on the same footprint. So If you have a bigger tank then this would be a much better way to go. Both chambers are MRC products so I use the term modded or pieced together loosely. They built the reactor this way for a reason. So you can customize the total volume of media in the system. I downsized to a 35 gal so it's overkill for me now but I'm still running it as we speak. You have the main reactor tube which has a 4.5" and then with this additional 6.5" diameter it adds a ton of ph scrubbing media. Anyways, thanks for checking it out. Good luck with your search!
