Incoming noob

Hi everyone,
I'm Alan. After some time lurking around this forum I came around to making an account. I'm from the Clairemont area. I'm currently a college student. I should be studying for school but my tank is distracting me. This is my first time doing saltwater, but I have been in freshwater for several years now. Hope to meet some awesome people and have a great experience with this.

Welcome! So what are your plans for your new adventure into salt water? Fish only? Reef? You probably already figured out that this site has all the information and help that you will need to get going and to do it right the first time, the key is research and don't be afraid to ask questions. Most of the time you just need to do a search on the site for questions and you will find all the info you need but of course sometimes you need help, that's what we like do. GL with your new setup and post pics of your progress!
