      Clownfish fry

My clown pair laid eggs yesterday. How hard is it to raise them? I have read that you have to grow green water and it sounds difficult? Can I just buy the foods they need? Have a little tank for them and a weak light. Anything else???

      Congrats on the babies.
I have live phytoplankton and live Rotifers.
And I can show you how to raise both, it's pretty easy.

Usually the first couple/few spawns are weak and most people let those go as fish food, and that should give you time to read up on what it really takes to do it right.
Joyce Wilkersons book on clownfish is a must read for anyone attempting to raise clowns IMO.

Also if they are in your main tank the other fish will most likely eat them when they hatch.

Oh that's awesome, you're close. I need like a 10 gallon setup right with just a weak light and airstone, No filter
