      Fuge and Brittle Starfish

      Hey guys and girls,

Is it beneficial to have brittle starfish (not green) in the fuge to clean up all the junk on the sand bed? Will it survive on that alone? I have a few chunks of LR and some macro with some sort of black soft snails (don't know how I got them) but they look like growing and slowly multiplying.

It will most likely eat pods and any planktonic life you have in your fuge. If you have detritus settling in your fuge, consider using filter socks, turning off return pumps during feeding, etc...

I prefer my fuge to be free of predation so pods can reproduce.
