Moms tank is dying quick

My mom lives in Wisconsin and my dad travels a lot. He has multiple tanks and today she came home and 7 fish were dead. Facetiming her now and her foxface jumped out and died. Now her coral is dying. Any solutions or quick tips until my dad gets home? I'm boggled on what could he happening.

Mix up new salt water in a hospital tank and put the fish and corals in there until you can get the display under control. If fish are jumping out of the tank and corals are dying before your eyes I don't know that a water change is going to be enough to fix things.

Have her check all perameters.

Temp? Heater stuck on?

I suggested that too. She's working on it but needs to find a heater.

My dad has everything set up digitally so most stuff she doesn't even know how to check. She got ahold of him and he's turning things off right now. But I had her check pH and temp and they were normal.

Do you have live rock?? Is it real love rock or fake rock??any new additions?? Where is the tank located??

That's his tank, I don't have any pics of his equipment. But she said the only thing they changed is how often she's been feeding them. I didn't think that'd be a reason for almost all of them to die though.

So many possibilities, sometimes LFS will take and hold your livestock to at least help keep them alive until your dad gets home and runs tests.

Could he be a member of a forum in that area and know someone that may be able to help?

Dad just said he added bio pellets last weekend and thinks that might have caused it. So sad.

He is a member there but he's out of town and my mom couldn't get ahold of him. I'm still just a beginner at this so I had no idea where to start.

Do you have WC water ready?
Or is there an LFS near that you can pick up some?
I would turn off that reactor and do WC's asap.

She's changing it now. Dad shut everything down and is walking her through it.
