      150 Gallons of Entertainment

Alright, my last tank for a long time. In the past few years I've had a 60, 75, 180, 50, 110 and finally after moving my new tank is in the works. 150 Gallons. Brand new Visio tank with a 60 gallon sump. Beautiful stand made by Tony (unbereefable) and canopy on it's way to completion. I will be running the Herbie method with a 1.5" and 1" drain with a 1" return. I'm using for lighting a 48" Reefbreeder Photon. Pump is a Jebao DC 6000 and skimmer will be an ASM G2 (may upgrade to a G3 down the road). Everything has been purchased brand new with the exception of my skimmer. But the G2 is a beast. Had it running on my 180 gallon. I also am using black natures ocean sand. I love it! Makes the corals pop

Here's some pics after moving it in...

Nice tank and stand! If you don't mind me asking how much was it for tank and stand? I'm upgrading towards the end of august and thinking of getting anything from 90-125 gallons

My tank was pretty basic besides overflow. If u go rimless or eurobraced and starfire the tank will be 2-3x more than standard. And obviously a lot of costs in the plumbing, sump, and equipment. Lol. Expensive hobby

Vets Pets was by far the cheapest for Visio compared to the others I compared. Chris Lotsafishies had hands down best price on Eurobraced tho if that's the route you want to take

Lookin good Aaron! Is there a valve on the part of the return that goes back to the sump?

No I've never used any valve on the return lines in the past only because I make sure the sump is big enough that I can shut off the pump or if it fails that it won't overflow. And I don't want to restrict the flow. The pump I bought is adjustable for gph output as well if I need to tone down at all
