Yes, anyone can get water and do as they please. I used to get a bunch of water for the South Bay guys.

Yeah, I remember a while back, someone (I won't mention names - ^) who tried to keep Scripps water conveniently available down here in Chula Vista & would ask for a modest fee to cover transportation expenses (i.e., gas).

A bunch of people got their panties tied up in a wad over the notion of "paying" for water that came from a free source. The effort ended up in a not very pretty ending...

In my opinion, what people pay for is the service of delivering that "free" water. I went down there the other day to get 10 gallons and had to wait 20mins to get it. I was thinking about how it would be better if I would be able to pay somebody to do it for me.

And until Scripps puts up a sign forbidding people from collecting water there to sell it, I see no problem with it at all.

      Hello Guys and Gals,

I want to start the service but need people who want it on the regular not just one offs, and yes Temecula is a long haul for 100 gals. If there are more people interested in getting a one time or regular delivery I will be getting a container that should be able to hold 275 gals.

Lastly yes everyone knows Scripps water is free I am sure not trying to hide that fact what you are paying for is my gas and time and convenience of you the consumer of not needing to put miles on your car paying 4.25 a gal for fossil fuel and carrying large sums of water in and out of your car or truck, also at the same time I could delivery your drinking water as well. Anyone on here who has meet me, conducted business with me or is a friend of mine knows that I do not take advantage of our fellow reefers and I try to hook up anyone that comes over for coral or other things ;D

To prove that fact anyone who signs up for a bi-weekly delivery of 40 gals or more will get 10% off any coral I have in my main tanks for the first 6 months of service..

Thanks all of you for looking at the thread and leaving comments good or bad keep them coming DIRT.....NASTY.....510
