Rkl coupler

does anybody near poway have a coupler to use to update the rkl? I need the coupler to connect bus calbes to the SID V2

You can use a regular six conductor phone coupler for that. Just make sure it has all six conductors.

quick question. can i upgrade the rkl unit from the pc4? I upgraded the pc4 first and now the rkl doesnt read on the myreef 2.0 nor does it turn on when connected to the pc4.

No it can only be updated via myReef. Are you using a v2 SID?

So i updated my pc4 via myreef using sid v2. Now i cant get the rkl head unit to read to update. How can i update the rkl head unit directly to myreef without using the pc4 since the rkl headunit doesnt turn on?

You must connect the head unit to the SID directly. You can not update modules (including head units) on the RKL and RKE systems while they are connected to each other. If you updated the PC4 with the head unit still plugged into it, then you have updated the firmware in your head unit to that of a PC4. You will need to connect the head unit directly to the SID and perform an interrupted firmware updated to get it back to the correct firmware.
