      Help! My tank is leaking.

Hi everyone, today I got a call from my gf while I was at work and my tank has a crack at the bottom of it, where the corner is, and it's leaking.

The leak is very slow but I'm scared it will get worse. What can I do? Is there a temp fix while I get all the livestock sold/taken away? I'm kind of freaking out right now.

      Any help/input is appreciated.

Also my number is 619- Six Zero Two - 0435

Mine is a 75g, I guess I could place the 100g on the floor and transfer most of my stuff there for now? Would that work? Would it be possible to transfer everything, even the sand? I have no clue how to go about this.

I would guess the sandbed would kill everything by releasing harmful crap in the water column. So I just move the rocks, coral and fish?

Get water, LR, and livestock in whatever w/ a PH and a heater for now.
      Later deal w/ sand.
You can easily go w/out light for 3 days.
Just move water and keep it warm.
Even brute trash cans can work.
There's a fine line between owning your tank, and having your tank own you!_________________________________________

Leave the sand, rock can go into buckets with flow or the temp tank with the fish and corals. Moving the rocks is going to disturb the sand as well so take some water from the main tank before moving anything and top off the new tank with new water.

Yeah, I got offered to borrow 100g tanks but I can't fit them in my car so I'm trying to call my friends see if anyone has a truck I can borrow.

Yeah, yesterday my gf and I felt a little aftershock type earthquake and really thought it was just in our heads... but that crack in my tank is deffo not in my head. For now all I need is a way to transport a 100g tank I'm going to borrow. Probably going to sell everything over the weekend. Just need something hold my livestock until then.

      Bummer.
I have a truck, you cant borrow it but id be willing to lend a hand in helping get the tank to you depending on your location.
I would syphon out as much water as possible into several buckets before moving anything in the tank, then transfer lr and livestock into a few buckets. You could do lr in 1 and live stock in another or half & half. what ever you choose, make sure a few buckets are just water with no rock or fish. Then you can transfer the sand to new tank. After placing the sand start filling tank with a measuring cup to prevent stirring up the sand and clouding the water, use the old tank water that does not have the lr or livestock. Once you have it filled about half way, place your lr and ls into tank then fill with remaining water left from clean water buckets. Top off with freshly mixed water being careful to temp and salinity match existing water. Pack the intake with floss and change several times the first few days. Inhave done this a few times because of moving and have only lost some xenia because of the sand bed getting stirred up a bit to much.

Thanks for the offer, I am pretty far from you. I have found someone with a tank near(ish) me and I'm waiting for a reply from someone with the transportation. Hopefully I can go get it very soon. It is a stressful situation, I really love all my fish and livestock.
