Finally got around to posting pictures of my nano tank.

In the Beginning. 48inch long.7inch tall 10 deep. 14 gallon.

picture of the tank with rock and a clown. I had to put crushed coral on the right side because the Mp10 was kicking up to much of the fine sand.

clown up close, little out of focus.

starry blenny next to coral. mean little guy. he was donated by another SDReefer.

six line wrasse bought from Reefers Garage.

thanks for looking. take care. feel free to give some comments.

Sweet tank Leonard, I'm jealous! Those long tanks are so cool, I may have to invest in one.

      Look forward to the progress/updates.

Thanks guys. I'll post more pics later. Hopefully I can keep the tank parameters in check, just bought the small bag of "Chem pure elite" and it fixed things over night.. It's my first nano. Had a 75 then a 150 then a 180. Now due to apartment living I set this up.

I found it from a guy who had it custom made. Glass has excellent clarity was told it was that starphire glass. He had it made for a college photography class project. I probably over paid. but i really like the tank setup and how clear the glass is.

I love that format! How's evaporation and maintaining salinity in it? Do you have an ATO system?

Thanks. I have no problems with salinity so far. I use a jbj auto top off and just let it fill as needed. I have not seen the need to do water changes yet. and i also run a remora nano skimmer that runs 8-10 hours a night. Tank also has a finnex hang on back 1 gallon refugium that has two mangroves and red lettuce looking algae. In the filter box i use ehiem media pellets and the chem pure ultra bag that has gfo in it. And once a week i place a filter pad in the over flow for couple days. And the only other thing I do is use instant ocean calcium additive, instant ocean reef accelerator and instant ocean marine stabilizer. Evaporation I'm guessing is 4 gallons a month. When it gets low I just go to Luis at reefers garage and get my ro/di which I ended wanting and sometimes buying something because he has great prices and selection. I have my temp set at 79 deg. Which will swing to a max of 81 deg. And my salinity just above 1.025 gravity which is 34 ppt. Thanks again for the nice comments.

Thanks Robert. I'm glad I bought them from you. My corals extended and reached like I never seen before. I'm hoping it will get my elegance coral going again. It's not doing to good.
