      ATO suggestions

      Hi All -

I'm in the process of setting a 120G tank and need to purchase an ATO system. Lots of choices, I'm looking for the best unit, I don't want to have an accident and ruin our wood floors. My wife won't be too happy with me.

I'm looking forward to your suggestions.

      Thanks

      Randy

My status is: I'd rather be reefing than

Tunze Osmolator all the way - I would just recommend that you have the hose line that the RO/DI water comes out of and into your tank is up high. I have mine go into one of my overflows. Otherwise you can run into back siphon issues.

I would say Tunze osmolator is the "best". As far as best bang for your buck I like the "ATO" brand system.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I'll go with the true zone. I might hit you up when setting up. I'll be using 30 gal drum for ATO water.

FYI I'm purchasing Eric's (echoreef) setup..

Just to give you another option, your system already comes with the reef keeper lite package and SL1 module. All you need to do is add a float switch and aqua lifter to get ATO working.
