Neptune Apex Automatic Feeding Systems (AFS)

At the recent SDMAS meeting someone asked what the capacity of the food hopper is. I just measured it: it's about 3.5 ounces by volume. Or another way of looking at it - I was able to fill it with about 60 grams of New Life SPECTRUM pellets - about half of the small container.

Have you been able to use it yet? If so how do you like it so far, I am still waiting on mine to come in.

So far I have no complaints. I actually just got the first fish in my new tank so it's only been on use since yesterday.

      Hey Guys,
I am also thinking about getting one of these. Do you know if you can put thawed frozen food like Brine in it or only dry food?

      Only works with dry food.

It functions just like the independent electric/battery powered auto feeding dispenser, except the Neptune version you can control it via wireless to dispense whenever you want or change the schedule.
