      apex, A little help.

So I am about ready to start plugging stuff in. I know some channels are better for stuff then others. so that is where I could use some help. I have the full apex with the AWM for the AI Vegas. (so I dont think I need to plug the lights in to the 8 bar

      I have:
      mag drive return pump
      2 WP-40's
      300W heater
another return pump for the refugium
light for refugium (2 bulb T-5 28''? what ever size goes on a 30'' )
I will have another light for the frag tank (have not bought yet)

I also have a bubble mag doser but i dont think there is any reason to hook it up to the apex. (or am i wrong?)

any help would be greatly appreciated

      thank grimey

I would plug the doser in to the Apex. That way if for some reason the pump dosing alk gets stuck in the on position the pH probe can recognize the high pH and shut it off. I don't see anything on your list that needs to be plugged in to one of the higher amp plugs.

      apex, A little help.

Jeff is spot on about the doser.

No, you don't need to plug the Vegas into the EnergyBar for power if you don't want to. You can just leave them powered on all of the time and just dim the lights to zero with programing.

What version of firmware is currently installed? Look at the bottom of the Network setup
      page.

I have not plugged it in yet. the paper manual does not have a network setup page (nothing on network) I have not put the disk in yet but it says version 4.20 on the cd.
is that what you are asking about or should i install the disk and look it up?
