      AI Hydra52

      My review on the Hydra52

      I added 1 Hydra52 with my 2 vegas

as you can see most of the light is coming from the 52 the spread is just amazing Ai claims 36x36 I have the fixture 12 inch awl and when I have the vegas off it covers almost the whole tank which is 48 just with a little bit of shadows on sides the light spread a great distribution of light I dont see much shadowing at all it almost look as even with my 8 bulb fixture just a little bit more blue..my sps was growing well with the t5 led combo but when I added the hydra52 my growth rate stayed the same and maybe better on some..colors are great ..I believe the violet and uv made a big difference and having more led compared to vegas made a big difference. .so far I think I can grow sps with the hydra52 heres some pics..

Thanks for the review. Keep us updated. So you think (1) Hydra 52 would be enough lighting for a 40x40 cube eventually mixed reef?
