I'm seriously considering getting one (finally) and I have been looking at both the Reef keeper and the neptune, right now I'm leaning toward the neptune products but I want some real world opinions on them.

Have had both. IME really, really depends on what you need it to do, whether you want remote access, what interface/model 'fits' your eye/hand, etc. Essentially, both can do 99% of the functions most refers ask for. Outside that, it is how you like the interface and programmability. Neptunes program a bit easier for me, but once you get the hang of DA, it is slick and no problem as well.
Maybe that's what I need to consider more, ease of use, right now I only want the basics, i definitely don't need remote access and I think the neptunes cost a bit more but that's not a great concern.
I like my DA but I want to get a ghl..
My build in progress
