Ooh, I like the auto feeder. Need another test system? ;-)
The initial shipments of both AFS and AWM were sent to distributors last week
The AFS is really sweet. It's even powered by the Apex AquaBus. Food amount is adjusted by a mechanical shutter-type thing - this determines how much food is dispensed per rotation of the drum. Then, via the Apex programming, you control how many drum rotations per feeding period, and the feeding schedule based on time. There is major flexibility in how you can use it. You could program to feed a little every few hours and then a bigger feeding once per day for example. This will be especially good for always-hungry pigs like anthias
The AWM works great too - I got a deal on an AI Hydra. It works great through the AWM . I really like my Acan Prism fixture controlled through the Apex VDM too. I'm going to be faced with a tough decision - use the Hydra or use the Prism.
Nice is there a rubber sleeve to protect the connection it's right there so close to the water
Now all you need Russ is a tank with water in it!!

My current 130g system
