I need to look into this

Label on my bucket is from www.TwoPartSolution.com, doesn't look like it's a valid website anymore. Maybe BRS?
Love it... I ordered my reptile dripper setups on ebay, was looking for the chemistry titration glassware but that was really expensive originally, but in the words of Phil from Duck Dynasty "I am a low-tech man in a high-tech world."
how'd you seal the connection between the hose and container?
I didn't, drilled hole smaller than the tubing, pinched the end of the tubing & forced it through, self sealing. Tube sticks up about 1/4 inch inside the container.

One other thing I forgot, be sure to drill a small hole in the lid to provide venting or nothing will drip out.

Believe it or not, I read your post to fast & didn't see the beer part, I'm ashamed.

So, Duncan.. did you let it run into a measure cup.. to know how fast to drip it? ...say for like 50 ml in 24 hours? Or did you just get lucky and eyeball it?
No, my CA & ALK were at my minimum levels (400 & 8)when I started so I just started dripping then testing daily to get a drip rate that maintained those levels. Only had to test three days in a row to get my baseline. I really didn't measure amounts (ml) but instead I just measured seconds between drips. Ended up with CA every 30 seconds & ALK every 20 seconds ( used the ol "one one thousand" to count seconds between drips). I did not use it to raise the levels quickly as they were at my minimum desired levels, just maintained for a week then increased rate slightly to keep ALK @8-9 & CA @460. I just woke up so kinda foggy. Hope this makes sense! Your ca & alk will probably be good when you add water so i would star dripping right away to maintain.
