120 gallon. I throw money at it, and it grows colorful sticks.

ok I got home today and my anthias was dead but all the rest of my fish are acting normal. one thing I did notice is the fish were all breathing very fast yesterday and today its slowed quite a bit. and Beto I feed them when I get home and they feed for a few minutes. I am currently doing my water Change and am doing 45 gallons which is 15 more than I normally do. Thanks to everyone who gave me ideas on what to check . If anyone else can think of anything please let me know. one side note when I found my anthias that was dead he was mostly eaten with just his tail and head left. last night when I went to bed he was still alive.

how about the oxygen level? Can you increase the bubbles in the skimmer? Long shot but may help?

Ya, what is your flow like in your tank? Possibly the fish were running out of air. Any powerheads in the tank to help circulate?

is the back of your canopy open so that the carbon-monoxide can escape? says that can cause your fish to die unexpectedly.

Sorry to hear about your situation it sucks I know. It happened to me about a year ago n lost 20 fish including my Achilles tang. My fish started dying one by one util they were all gone in a period of 5 days N all my corals were doing great. To make story short, the cause was a tiny drill bit that was stuck in a rock that I had introduced into the tank few days before. I took it out n did a 30% water change n installed carbon, a week later it was back to normal. Check if any kind of metal has been introduced into your set up n do water changes

When was the last time you add corals to your tank? I will tell you a little story about my coral buying. I used to order box of corals to a guy in LA. One time I did my order to him and acclimate everything in a box and I did not realized that one of the zoas colony have mantis shrimp. Killed my damsel. Its a big possibility that there is some creatures in your tank that killing your fish. Like you said something in your tank eat your wrasse. Good luck to your tank I hope everything goes well soon.

well yesterday after more checking and moving all of my rock I found nothing unusual in the tank. the good news is all of my fish appear to be healty at the moment. I did my water change and carbon as well. I have a Iwaki pump and a powerhead in the tank so im not sure if it can be waterflow but the article on undetectable ich has me wondering.

Pinoyreef the last time I added corals was a month and a half ago and it was a zoa frag.I do use coral dip on all my new additions but I did check every rock in the tank and found nothing.

corey760 my canopy is a open top with no covers but I did remove all the stuff I had up there just in case

at this point I don't think I will be adding anything new til Im absolutely sure whatever this issue is disappears I also plan on another water change tomarrow

Where are you getting your brine shrimp and how do you prepare them? They are known to carry parasites I've actually had a similar problem a while back when i was feeding live brine. Always a good idea to gut load, fresh water dip, then freeze live brine before feeding them. Just my 2 cents good luck happy reefing
