Paly juice in my eye... Again!

Why don't I learn? Recently I got new glasses. Usually when I'm cutting palys I have eye protection cause if my glasses. Except this time, I did not get progressive lenses, so I can't see anything close with glasses on. Poor excuse, but Monday night got juice in my eye. Two days later still red. At least no burning but lots of tearing. Guess I got to go to urgent care again today...

Sorry to hear it John .. I agree with pinoyreef.. go as soon as you can, don't take chances with your vision! Hope it's ok, mean time, maybe use saline eye rinse every couple hours?

i recently popped a bubble algae and got juice in my eye too...thank god my eyes are ok...should go check it out tho! better to be safe...

Yep will do, got two more meetings to get through then off to urgent care. Thinking based on wickedfish's experience on scr I need steroids and maybe antibiotics.

Heck go for the medical marijuana! You never know it may help hope everything works out and your vision is fine.

Really appreciate that, thank you. I already went to urgent care, they checked me out with fluorescein and some other drops and determined damage was superficial, gave me antibiotics. My eye is still red but no longer tearing or burning And no vision probs.

S@@@! not out if the woods yet. Had to go to the ophthalmologist again to get some steroids... Should have insisted on this at urgent care. Copays flyin out of my pocket!
