The frags that I picked up from you a couple weeks ago are doing great! I'll be back soon.

April update: The tank has had a few ups and downs. After the skimmer pump debacle, I lost a few nice pieces(RR-Acros, a few nice Reef Pet Acros as well) and lost a few fish due to Ich. Always heartbreaking to lose fish you have had for a long time.

My tank has had a noticeable increase in algae as well so, I've been trying to get the P04 down slowly without killing more stuff. I also lost both tangs so I don't have anyone eating the algae either. Please dont mind the HA in the pics

Pikachu finally coloring up and growing upward.

Very cool milli I got from Will @ ASD

Frag pack I got from Reef Pets. I lost the one circled to a tumble into an LPS. Of course there are no replacements available...

Gary is the best. His stuff is always very similar to his pics, and he doesn't gouge you like some people do. Those pieces ended up being $40 a frag. He can work with your budget though. I usually PM him on R2R and ask for a frag pack around $XXX amount. He is very easy to deal with.

Bump for someone to check out. Im going to restart the frags from this tank. I think I am going to get rid of this rock, in favor of Marco rock and go bare bottom.

Looks like I will be upgrading to a 120 here soon. DaveOcean is coming by in a few weeks to reinforce the floors just in case.

Ugh, I wish my tank looked good now. Looks like a tornado hit it. Lots of frags from all the colonies I tried to save and quite a few skeletons.

I will be happy to redo things once I get a new tank.

Well, the tank seems to have stabilized after my fight with the RTN issue. What is left is starting to come around now and color back up. In the meantime I bought a tank off a reefer from the so-cali boards. I'm really diggin the 40" height to it. So far I only have the stand since the tank didn't fit with the stand in the van. I'm going to start a new thread when I get the tank primed and painted.

I want to try something different with the tank. I bought a huge piece of artificial live rock as the main structure in the tank. I plan to put use as few pieces of live rock as possible and instead use a cermedia block and fuge as bio filtration. I want to try something different and see how it goes.

Caught a glimpse when lights came on when I was there, some nice colors in there.
I just did my water leak test and I'm a go, so keep me in mind w/ accidental frags please, I'll be in need pretty soon!

Ugh, my tank is in such poor shape right now. I think those concrete plugs leached phosphate back into the tank and I had an algae explosion. I began using a liquid phosphate remover to help with my problem but, I've got a long way to go.

As far as frags go Dave, I would be happy to trim some stuff for you once I get the new tank installed. I may have a lot of things I am going to be getting rid of as well. Going to trim down the madness. Let me know when you get time to help with the canopy.

Plumbing the new tank. Any ideas on how to get the fittings closer to the back of the tank so as to reduce space? Let me know if you see anything I should change.

      Returning to reefing

Use a street el, or cut the bulkhead thread (this is risky unless you have a good saw)?

Lookin good, builds are so much fun!
