Can I use 2 AI Sol on a 48 in long tank?

Still exploring my options.. If I cut a few holes in my canopy ( ) to mount the AI Sols LENGTHWISE onto my canopy how will my coverage be? They would have to be about 6 inches from the water, and the tank is 48"L X 15"W X 18"D. Could I get away with just 2 of these depending on the optics used? If anybody has 2 mounted on a 48 in tank I would love to see a pic if possible.. Thanks again

I think these have a 24" spread so two would probably be ok but 3 would be perfect

It really depends on what corals you are going to be keeping in the tank.

Mostly LPS..with a few easy sps, and Anemones. I am worried that using only 2 will cause a dark shadow in center, because it will only be 6 in. from the WL.

With the nems and SPS I would go with 3 fixtures.

Thanks everyone for the input I think I may be set in a new direction (happily)...I found out that reefbreeders are about to release the Photon 48!! I was really liking the the 32 ,but it would give me dead spots set so low in my canopy.. so this will be perfect! Not to mention $150 less than 2 ai sols ,and a 2 yr warranty to boot! I hear great things about the product so far, and Logan has been so helpful with all my questions. I would love to hear from anybody about their exp with the product/company.. lmk what ya think folks!
      Thanks Again!

I have 2 sols on my 120 (48inch wide) they cover just right. I hung them at the recommended height of 13 inches off the water. Great shimmer, great lights.

The AI Sol as a more up and down lens angle. When I was choosing LED's, I talked with AI directly and they recommended I go with 2 Vega's or 2 Nano's because they have a wider angled lens. You might want to get AI's opinion.
