How do I remove blue clove poylps from an unfraggable rock?

Anybody have any advice? I have a colony rock that I can't chop up..is there something to pour over them or coat them with? It is covering the base , so it is possible to just dip it in something I think. LMK whatcha think, have tried, heard about? Thanks!

      Aptasia X or anything similar.
Turn off pumps, cover the polyps, let it set a few minutes before turning pumps back on.
Get a grip on them quick, they can become a serious invasive mess.

No rock is unfraggable. Get yourself a hammer and chisel.

Just don't do it in the tank lol
120 gallon. I throw money at it, and it grows colorful sticks.

Thanks Dave, will give it a shot~ I can remove the rock and do it outside of the tank.. but how long should it sit, and should I rinse it off before I replace it? Thanks

I don't have any advice to offer, but I just had to chime in that that rock is AMAZING

Thanks It's my favorite pick up from MAX! .. Just gotta get rid of the carpet of cloves on the bottom:/ Been seeing some tanks that are battling it, and shocked how it just overwhelms everything..

Yap..if you only have blue cloves on the rock then yes. Vinegar dip will not only get rid of the cloves but will clean the rock as well. Done it when I tried to rid of some ugly brown polyps and some bristle worms, yaiks!
