Could I be on the verge of a problem???

I just went to take a picture of some frags in my tank and when I went to move my mummy eye chalice I realized it has encrusted on to the bare bottom of the tank. I have noticed since I got my mp10 the outward growth on the chalice has been greatly taken off. I am glad the chalice is in a spot where I like it but I am worried it will quickly run out room. This thing throws out about 6 inches of feeder tentacles at night and has already taken out a couple sps frags. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with corals encrusting on bare bottom glass. Do you think it will be easy to dislodge from the bottom if needed? Also will other chalices be effected by getting hit with the feeder tentacles??? Maybe a chalice garden is in order. Thanks for the help. Here is a picture of the chalice.

Could I be on the verge of a problem???

I had this happen to the side of my tank. I just kind of levered it off with an algae scraper. The part on the glass broke off. But it's healing fine. Mine was only about an 1" or 1.5" of chalice on the glass.

Since the glass is pretty smooth it should come off pretty easily. if it were growing into a rock, that might be a different story. I would probably try to slide the whole piece along the glass to avoid chipping pieces off. a razor under the piece would be another way.
