29G Nano Cube startup

Hey Guys,

I just started my tank and I bought a test kit last night so that I can start monitoring the water quality. My MG is at 1400. I read that I shouldn't try and adjust alk or cal until my MG is between 1300 1380 is this true?

Nope, I just set it up last sunday and added 2 blue chromis on monday.

QUESTION ABOUT YOUR skimmer...I just purchased a 28 gallon nano cube...im looking for a skimmer....would u recommend yours? and is it loud at all? somewhat loud? or not loud at all? thanks (and where did you buy or order it)
