Yes, understood. Not a real big difference in price. In general, we hear that reefers prefer full spectrum (given the choice) and perceive differences in certain coral colors.
A variety of lighting has been shown over the years to "work", and there are now plenty of blue/white LED fixtures on the market.
See AI Sol vs. AI Vega for example. Don't buy blue/white now just to find out you like the look you get with full spectrum.
If you go full spectrum, then you need to decide just exactly what that means to you.
Try to get some near UV in the mix.
Also, consider the quality of light and the LED maker. CREE vs. Bridgelux, Epistar, etc. Makes a big difference IMO.
If you can, try to see them side-by-side.
