Thanks guys! The best part of the new additions is that while the powder brown shows signs of ich every few days, he eats like a pig and appears to be building his tolerance to it. My though is that I already had it in the tank when I introduced them since in the 6 weeks they were in QT, they showed no signs at all.

So I haven't updated this thread in a while. I ran into a crazy busy time at my job and didn't really have time to upkeep the tank or life in general. I fought a cyano, some GHA for a while but beat that. The tank is finally back on track. My parameters are holding steady with a 20% water change every 3-4 weeks. I've had to up my 2 part dosing as the corals are growing. I just added 2 tangs to my tank, a powder brown (lost my previous one) and another Yellow Eye Kole (lost one to the mousepad fiasco). My yellow tang picked on them for about a week and now has decided to stop. If i see more aggression, the YT is getting the boot. I will try to post some pictures tonight.

As promised. Some picture updates. I've added more rock since my last update and really tried to create depth and "caves" for the fish to swim in and out of.

Wow tank is looking great man! Grown a bunch since I last saw it when I picked up that skimmer from you a few months back. Is that frogspawn the same single head frag from before or did you get a bigger colony? What salt are you running?

Nice add of LR, good job on keeping it open for swim room.
      Looks great!

I actually picked this up as a pretty large colony already, but the thing grows exponentially. I'm using RSCP for salt.

Thanks Dave. I really wanted to keep the LR low to allow for "above the reef" swimmers. Makes it feel more natural to me and more what I actually see out in the ocean.

Cool, I just started using RSCP as well, switching over from the regular RS.

I am about to set up a very similar set up (size, lights, pump, design...etc)...any updates. Especially on whether or not those lights could grow SPS? (I don't see any pictures from these posts for some reason).

When I had corals in there I was able to grow SPS but slowly. I eventually gave up on SPS due to me not keeping water quality where it should be. So it could have been a function of both my laziness and the light to be honest. I had good success with LPS though. LPS grew like crazy w/ this light and decent water quality.

Some of the pics I posted aren't showing probably because they are hosted somewhere I don't use anymore. I can try to dig some up and post them.
