      Wholagan's Island

So the wife approved upgrade has begun. Picked up this 120 (48x24x24) Eurobraced from Tyler who ended up being a familiar face. 30" espresso stand. Thanks Chris (Zodi) for helping me get it out of the truck, and Gio (Skidz) for helping me get it to its home.

Here it is when it came in. My light seems to sag when stretched to 48 so I'll probably be building a hanger.

The tank has a off center overflow with just the drain in it. I'm using a Maggie Muffler. First time trying it but have heard good things. My RO/DI is pretty slow at making water so I started in on the rock work and on setting up all the outlets/sump area and some plumbing.

Here's the scaping so far. Going for a lagoon feel. This is as far as I got since I still have one CPA exam left. This has been a good way to break the monotony of studying all weekend.

      Any comments/suggestions welcomed.

      Wholagan's Island

Finished all the plumbing and hung all the electrical as well. I was hoping I would have room for a 5-10 gallon tank off to the right for my ATO reservoir but it might be too tight. I plan on moving from Kalk to dosing 2-part when the time comes so I might just be able to use my RO/DI jugs.

      Wholagan's Island

Added a dual reactor tee'd off from the return. Only running carbon. Decided to keep skimmer running since its pulling some good stuff. I've always wanted an ASM skimmer and its not disappointing. Here's an closer look at the plumbing.

I also received a new toy for the tank! Can't wait to see this in action. I'm going to run Koralia's during the cycle but get this bad boy going soon.

Cycle going good. Dosing MB7 to help kick start. Probably have to read up on cycling again because its been a while. Starting to test daily.
