Like mentioned already... some of us have dedicated our pumps, hoses and containers to do just that. I'm able to collect and store up to 360gallons at a time. I'm able to pump water 100' with a...

Going tomorrow.
Makes sense... probably starved the motor for water/lubrication/cooling leading to the "burn up".
Thanks to Max, and his research on finding the legalities...
I've got a place (after thorough searching for a good location of good off-shore flow, of non-polluted or no bay or interior based...
Other then going in a hoodie, in the dark of the night...it's sounding like it's actually legit!
... I'd never have thought so.
I did get a quote for 600gallons from a Catalina Water, and it's...

Hmm... I'd rather hear from those that HAVE picked up some gallons directly from the source of mother nature... before I run out and start "stealing" a couple hundred gallons.
See, I have the...
Ya think? How can it be? ... it just doesn't seem... legit.
I wonder how illegal it is... to stop off at a shoreline (thinking La Jolla, near the rocks at a certain side street), with a long hose... and pump, via extension cord and small generator... to get...
