I´m not found of iron based GFO. Iron can act as a fertilization to algae. If I use an iron based GFO - I do not use any chambers solution , just a bag in the water.
I often use kalkwasser - it...
I have a 4 ft*2 ft*2 ft tank with 2 pcs of 100 LEDs Dream chip and 1 pcs of 50 LEDs Dream chip. 60 degrees lenses I´ll think I have run them to hard. It works good below the 50 LED chip and below one...

Hi
I´m comming back with more experiments with my spectroscope. This type of capturing a light source spectra is a low cost and a simply method. I do not suspect that I will get a exact figure of...

Which type of corals? I have rusty red mushrooms, an orange-red ricordea and fishes with red and it works good in colours for me. I have one Dream Chip with red in it (630 and 660 nm) and I have...
I do not know either how they work - i doubt they are adjustable if you have a fixed length of the reflector :)
I saw your discussion with mr Wlison about this and how to attach them. I´m not...
The normal "saying" is that 200 PAR is enough for most corals. With the dream chip you also have a lot of wavelengths in the 400 - 470 nm range which is important for the photosynthesis of the...
From each of my three cannons I have 1 DC cord (minus and plus) Between the cannons there is a CAT 5 network cable and one CAT 5 cable out to the controller. I run two driver card from the same power...

I notice this when I test my chips in air but when I have them over the aquarium - I do not see this. There have been reported (I have never tested) that if you use that type of multichip there one...
I mean electric current - with other words - how many mA do you use for each channel or - which amperage do you run the different channels at.
Sincerely Lasse
@ acabgd: Looks good! Which current do you use and are you pleased with the result?
Sincerely Lasse
Has not hear of that fault before. There has been a few other faults but they are repared as I know. I´m sure you will have back a full working chip.
