Fan Temp Chiller controller
-
Works with all the DC fans. If you get a bigger fan get a bigger power adaptor.
FWIW i used a bigger adaptor on this one and it blows like a hurricane
With the AC power version you can add a heater and AC fan up to 20 amps.
Me. I hate AC in the tank when I can avoid it I do and I don't recommend you try it unless your DIY skills are good. Very good.

Is there splicing that is require or d ends come pre cut for all this?
-
Cool work, I use those same controllers (120v version) for my chiller and for fermenting beer :thrasher: I didn't know they had 12v versions. I am sure that will be useful some day.
I like the disconnect on the power supply as well. Did the controller come with the power supply?
Oh and I forgot, I am not sure how that probe will hold up in salt water but I replaced it with this one https://www.amazon.com/Yeeco-Waterpr.../dp/B00QTW8FDW

I bought the ends. It's easier to take apart or add length if i need to. That power supply came with tha fan actually. I'm waiting for a large amp 12v supply and splitter so I can run all the 12v stuff off one supply. Same with my 24v. For the power heads and pump. Pretty soon all my tanks will be all dc from 2 power supplies. So no more power strips and AC mess near the tank. The only snag is the heater is AC and the lights are 32v from a driver. Titanium dc heating elements are spendy.
But even with that prob I will only need four AC outlets and two splitters.

The ends come pre cut. Get em on Amazon or eBay You just have to make sure witch way the male and female point. Then you might have to splice. You can also use computer fans and splice an end on them.
