I wonder if that's the only thing getting cancelled. They didn't say anything about pricing error? Just discontinued and out of stock?
They said since it was unpopular color they were selling it lower priced to finish off the stock and discontinue it. The black model was not able to be swapped in its place for the same value due to map pricing was allowed to be lowered like they did on the white version

They should have caught this and system should have sold out the second last one was sold
I ordered 2 maxspect gyre and they called and said it is out of stock and discontinued.... I will never order from them after reading this.

Someone told me this is a trick that some companies play to make money off the vendor supplying the company with goods. They state that there will always be a supply on hand and if they sellout of an item what ever number they sellout by the vendor will give the company a percentage penalty back. I’m not sure if this is the case but seems like it could be. I ordered some things as well and haven’t got a call or email yet
Yeah, it feels like games, my paypal paid out, takes a few days to get that back.
The guy I talked to said they are relocating warehouse and ditching stock, but I agree, they should have caught this once out of stock
Of course he tried to talk me into the black ones for $199 and offered $20 discount if I did...
I know first hand that F&S charges vendors when they are back ordered on stock, and they will run sales w/out telling that vendor, and it hoses the vendor, and this is why we see sister companies pop up in order to get out of those bad contracts w/ them.
The sale on these was ridiculously low, who could pass it up, it's the ol deal, sounds too good to be true...
Oh well, still thank you for heads up on deals
