I am currently running a Reefkeeper Elite, Archon, and Apex on my tank. I will add a Cerebra into the mix in the not too distant future. I do a lot of testing and research on controllers so having the different systems that are available comes in handy.
Home made based on raspberry pi and 8 plug Wi-Fi power strip from ubiquity.

Can't comment on the Apex since I've never used it. Digital Aquatics is a bit slow on customer support but they do have good products

So as far as the apex the insurance issue are you guys all aware of them not being a certfied ul listed electronic.

Petco i believe got sued since they were their retailer when a house caught fire and burnt down a while back. Many people have stated their products are not intended for the use they are used for based on the fact nothing is ul listed. But when you sell millions and a few mishaps cost a few mil here and there it's just chump change to avoid the extra fees of paying to be a ul listed companyQuote:
