Reef Lounge: GREEN STAR POLYPS COLONIES

For this week’s “In-Store Special” we’re taking it back to basics. One of the first corals many of us keep when we get into the hobby is Green Star Polyps, affectionately (or not) referred to as GSP by the bulk of hobbyists.

We happen to have an entire pallet bin full of softball sized colonies in the shop and need the real estate for more valuable goodies that are landing any day now! As a result we are going to be blowing these bad boys out for only $30 a colony. Considering we easily sell 1” frags for $10-15 this is a full blown steal.

For those that don’t know, GSP is a darn near indestructible coral. It grows well in a variety of conditions, and quickly too. A great beginner coral they are sure to reward you with quick growth without much work on your behalf. Hurry in and fill that empty space on your rock with one of these colonies before we sell them all or chop them into itty bitty pieces!
