I’m getting ready to set up a RS 170 in my new man (fish) cave. The only issue I’m seeing from the get go is that the only outlet that is the closest is the half hot in the room, meaning that it can be turned off and on by a wall switch. Is there a way to disable this so that power doesn’t get accidentally turned off at the switch?

Yes, and it is as simple as changing the 110 V outlet. When you buy a new outlet, there are tabs on them that you remove in order for them to be switchable. If you do not remove these tabs, the switch will not operate, and it will run as if there was no switch. At this point though, the switch on the wall will be useless, but there will be 100% power to the outlet at all times.
Yes turn off breaker for the room and disconnect the wall switch. And restore power.
