Dying sea hare

I’m kind of disappointed that you guys do not have any type of guarantee with invertebrates, I bought a seahare from you guys a few days ago and when I put in my tank, it didn’t touch any algae, it crawled into the back underneath a rock and four days later, it’s dead and splitting in half. This is not a lack of husbandry skills, and anybody that has seen my tanks can vouch for that. It’s a shame that I was sold a unhealthy seahare and was left to just chalk it up as a loss. I love you guys, and buy tons of fish and coral from your store, but I will not but he buying any more invertebrates.

Not even store credit for something so cheap?

Nope, nothing. I was pretty much told I was out of luck. Whats ironic is the tank they came out of, did not have a single piece of hair algae, so it was probably starving to death before it even left their tank.

What really sucks is I have spent almost $400 there in the past 30 days. I spent $250 on Black Friday alone

It has a typical signs of dying from starvation, you could see it’s inner shell.

And it definitely didn’t die from starvation in my frag tank

I am sorry to hear that.. I will remember this when I think to get invertebrates there.

that's why I get stuff from Vance he keeps them busy and healthy

I know, but I couldn’t justify driving all the way up there for a $20 seahare when it will take $45 in diesel to get their and back

He said hes going down to get scripps water on Wednesday morning. Have him bring what u need. He's bringing me some fish.
