LA Run: Who needs fish, crabs, snails, stars, corals or more?!?!?!

Hey everyone. I will be making another LA run on Thursday, May 12th.

If you are interested in anything at a discounted price (or if you need something like turbo snails that the local fish stores are currently out of), shoot me a text at 619-253-3816 for a full stock list with prices.

I have full access to the LA wholesalers (although they still don't let you go inside unless that changed recently) so I should be able to get you anything in stock. And if they have something on sale, you get that sale discount too.

To save everyone time and to be transparent about wholesale pricing, I am now trying out a new pricing method as listed below. As it's new, I would be happy to hear feedback on this pricing method (too high, looks right, pretty low). Compare the prices to your LFS and let me know.

The percentages listed below are the amount that will be added to the prices from the wholesaler as my cut (plus tax...thanks government!!)
$0-20: 100%
$21-99: 75%
$100-299: 50%
$300-499: 40%
$500+: We can negotiate

Example using current prices as of today:
1.) Canary Blenny: $11.99 wholesale
2.) 10 mexican turbo snails: $7.90 wholesale
3.) Medium Hippo tang: $46.99 wholesale

Wholesale Total:$66.79
Markup ($21-99 is 75%): $50.10
Wholesale plus markup total: $116.89

$116.89 plus 7.75% tax gives a grand total of $125.95

Do they have live rock as well? And how often do you make the run up there?

I can get corals but because we are spoiled here in San Diego and get to buy corals from many local reefers, the wholesale prices aren’t likely as cheap as u may expect. I’m happy to share the coral list looks f I’m able to save it (haven’t tried yet). If ur looking for something specific, let me know. I may have some myself, know someone that has some, or I can get some from the wholesaler. Shoot me a text if interested. Thanks.

I have a tank that should be broken down this weekend that has a quarantined, mature yellow tang. As Hawaii is still closed down to my knowledge, yellow tangs are not available at wholesalers and the prices are much higher than before. LFSs are selling for $300+ if they can even get them from trade ins. This one I’m guessing will likely be $200+ but I have to confirm. Lmk if there is any interest. Thanks.
