anyone use pickling lime to rid xenia?

I have xenia all over my tank and i want to get rid of it. Someone suggested pickling lime after i cut and scrape as much as possible. any good or bad experiences with this method?

why not frag it and give it away?

I have given away alot of it already, but it is all over and I want it out!

Any other advice on getting rid of xenia? I can cut it and frag it and scrape away the base of it, but it always seems to come back...
