Duecejt's pond
-
Well...The pond is about 95% complete just a few more rocks and or driftwood pieces to hunt down. The local rock shops are loving me. Here is the progress thus far. I also added 5 Koi from the show a few weeks ago. Very happy with them.

Thanks man. I have been working on this for months now. Very time consuming project. Im really enjoying it though.

Where did you get those beauties from?
-
The fish came from the Koi show at Del Mar a few weekends ago. The guys company was Eastern Koi & Waterscapes in Wesminster, Ca. Thanks I picked those 5 from about a hundred fish.

If you don't mind me asking how much for all 5
-
$100. They were $25 each but I got him to do 5 for $100.

very nice Josh and congrats again on the new pad

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I recently added 3-10"-12" Koi that a friend gave me from his pond as a house warming gift. Post pics as soon. Also got some plants that really make it look like a natural pond. I finsd myself out there for an hour at a time just feeding them and checking them out. Really relaxing...

Looking good Josh. I can't wait to snorkle in there when the water warms.

Did you do small rocks on the bottom Josh?

I have some natural aquarium gravel about 100lbs...I need to get some more. I also need to fill in the back part where you can see the liner. Need a few Driftwood pieces...I will get back into it now that March is over.

I was going to recommend not using it at all. A lot more work for yourself to keep it clean.
