Howdy from Nashville! Prices out here...yikes!

Just checking in with a "Howdy!" from Nashville! :)

Absolutely loving life out here. Gas is less than $2/gallon. woot.

I have a really nice, friendly, group of new clients here that I am very happy with and am looking forward to continuing to get to know. Definitely miss my clients in SD though, had developed really good relationships with so many of them.

Also, really miss the SDreefs community! There is a very small, quiet sub-forum on R2R for Nashville, but its maybe 2 posts a week in total. Best thing I've found so far is a local fish group on Facebook.. :(


One really shocking thing is the livestock pricing...wooooeee! Prices are 50-100% more expensive across the board. Purple Pseudochromis $29.99... Small Blue Tang $150, md Blue Tang $200+... Smallest Ocellaris clowns $34.99..

Pricing seems to be 50% more everywhere else except SD
SD has the tendency to have much more needy people than most places I’ve dealt with🤣 most of know it, but no balls to admit it😂 equal love to everyone in SDR

Do people in Nashville complain about the local hobbyists like here?

We are moving to Prescott as well, I just started the tank setup there last weekend, gas was a bit more than Nashville, about $2.10 a gallon but I will miss the killer Mexican food here, had one of the worst burros in my life last weekend there, Taco Bell would have been better. As for corals and fish you have some contacts here to use and live aquaria ships direct as well. I am also working on a new pond there and might put trout in this one with the turtles.
