Great experience at the store

I had the opportunity to stop in at Encinitas Tropical Fish last Saturday when I had to take my daughter to test out her new saddle on her horse in Del Mar. I dropped her off and then made the quick trip up to the store. They had a terrific selection of fish and corals, including four Chevron Tangs. Yes, that is four of them. I believe they were priced at $229 and they were all less than 2" long. They looked very healthy and happy. I almost pulled the trigger on one, but decided to wait. I did pick up two Purple Queen Anthias that look beautiful. I spoke to an employee as well as the owner and they were very helpful and pleasant. Even gave me a little discount for driving all the way from La Mesa!

This is a great store and I highly recommend stopping in and talking a look. We are so fortunate to have so many great local fish stores in town. Support them, especially this one in Encinitas. Tons to choose from, great looking livestock, and very helpful staff.

Yeah i have a client right across the street so i always go there when I'm up that way. The 120 reef they have at the entrance is a nice setup too.

I would absolutely agree! Stopped in for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised at their selection!
I purchased a very nice looking Tomini Tang out of their reef tank! They went out of their way to catch it for me even though they had two others for sale in their other tanks!

I was very happy with their selection and customer service! I will be going back even though I live 35 miles away!
