Biography:

Born 1979 and raised in the countryside of Ft. Myers, Florida. Graduated from Florida International University, Miami with BS in International Relations. After graduation in 2002 Morgan married and settled in Coral Gables, Florida with husband, Johnny. She became involved in the saltwater aquarium hobby with Johnny and in 2004 they started up a saltwater aquarium business, the “Reef Gardener, Inc.” Their fledgling business focused on the use of aquaculture and the sustainability of saltwater corals. In 2008 the Reef Gardener, Inc. was state certified as an aquaculture facility and approx 75% of all corals Morgan sells to collectors are grown from established, in-house mother colonies. Morgan, president and now sole owner of Reef Gardener states, “I have a passion for saltwater corals and all creatures related to this hobby… I love teaching others how to raise and care for corals and other creatures.” In recent years Morgan has written articles for both the English and German versions of CORAL Magazine,Reefs.com, and ReefBuilders.com. She has also given presentations to the FMAS and PBMAS clubs.
