Evan's 20 Gallon

Hey everyone, I recently had a thread up on my 12 gallon, but I updated to a 20 recently and I thought I would make a thread for that tank to erase any confusion! Here are some pics I took today! :)

The tank is a standard 20 gallon. HOB Whisper filter. Odyssea 72W T-5 HO Lights, 2 Koralia hydor nano powerheads.

Nice tank...interesting to show everyone how basic it is to stand up a tank. Maint is the tricky part...LOL

What temp do you keep the water at, do you mix your own water, how often do you do water changes, and do you dose are all good things to know if I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Did you add all your items at the same time or progressively. How old is that tank/system? Do you just use the standard whisper carbon or anything different and how often do you change that out?

This is a very basic setup haha! :)

I keep it between 78-80. It fluctuates a little throughout the day. I do mix my own water, I use reef crystals and Aqua SD RO water. I do a 3 gallon weekly water change. I do not dose anything! Sometimes I purposely overfeed the system a bit, but do not dose.

It was a slow process of adding things! This tank is about 6 months? Somewhere around there :) Its pretty much my first SW tank.

I use chemi pure in my filter, and I havent changed it yet. I wash it out about twice a month. I need to work on getting a new one.

I think those are the Blue Tubb zoas.Could be wrong but they look the same:D

Im ready to keep SPS, so if anyone has any starter SPS for sale for a nice price let me know! Since I just bought these lights, my budget is really small so try to go easy on me haha! Thanks
